Pigs Going To Slaughter

Thanks go out to Vegan Soapbox

"Two dead pigs, died during transport. Pigs in boxes stay overnight to be slaughtered next day. Filmed with hidden camera by vet Gabriele Meurer."

How many more of these sensitive animals could they possibly fit into such a confined space? When the bottom-line is all that matters - like cars on an assembly line, except these "things" feel - questions are met with hostility, no matter how fundamentally important they may be.

I know this is a useless, angry comment, but I fucking hate people.

Ditto.

And....Prop 2 in California if passed will only add to more of the same. Prop 2 is just more welfare which does nothing...ZERO to get people who are 100% of the reason these poor animals must live and die like this.
No more Welfare! Go Vegan.

I don't know if we agree entirely, Mr. Steir. As a general statement, I tend to agree with incrementalism as such measures address the premise that suffering is inherently evil and ought to be reduced, without irrationally existing in the conclusion alone - at the expense of the pain and misery. However, this relies on a quantifiable reduction in harm, and therefore, Prop. 2 may not be good legislation. I don't know. I do, however, very much appreciate your comment.
