More info about veganism and the environment.

Thanks! Before Wisdom

It's great, right? Information about environmentalism, how excellent vegan food can be, and how gross the average American diet actually is - all delivered by the mainstream media.

Come on you "environmentalists" (I put it in quotes because I question the sincerity of some who claim this label), you know it's the right thing to do.

Hey! Thanks for the plug! :)

I don't think it is all that bad. In the last year I've had omni friends ask me to send them starter guides so they could at least cut down on animal products because they were concerned about the environment. I think the big environmental organizations just avoid mentioning the diet planet connection because they don't want to risk offending their donors. There are a few animal advocacy organizations that think like that too so the problem isn't unique to them. With CNN pieces like this leading the way, people will follow. That CNN piece isn't unique either. In our area I've seen Wendy Reiger do similar pieces on the local news with COK
