Monsieur Debideen. <3

Okay, so I finally went on that date with Adam. *grin* And let me tell you, it was amazing. I had such a great time with him. And it’s not every day that I meet someone that I can be totally myself with. First, we met at the Old Navy parking lot, because if you know me well enough, you know he lives in Brampton, not Barrie. So he’s about an hour away, which is no biggie. So, he comes down at like, 5:30pm Tuesday night. And we were together until 3:30am Wednesday morning. Pretty good for a first date, right? I think so. So, we drove around for a while, headed to the Cookstown outlet mall, walked around there for a bit. Then decided to go to dinner, so we drove all the way back to Barrie, and he took me to dinner at Eastside Mario’s, which was terrific, he has a pretty amazing sense of humor. He’s also incredibly kind, and intelligent. Which, obviously, is a HUGE step in a totally new direction for me. :) So I’m talking to him online right now, and we’re discussing what our date was like, and it looks like we’re both pretty stoked about what took place. But since he’s online right now, I’m gonna focus on him. <3

Sunrise, Sunrise. Couldn’t tempt us if it tried…

So, in no uncertain terms was I not allowed to post in here. I’m a lazy butt that has been oh so busy with other stuff that I neglect my beloved readers. *snuggles* Sorry guys. Hehe, I’m here, fear not. So yesterday was Red Friday for the Canadian forces, I participated in most of the events, my mom was part of the honour guard, she looked so cute in her DEU’s! My dad was TSR’d out the butt, so he was in the shop working on LAV’s and Coyotes. I got to sit in and watch him do pre-fire checks on some of the equipment. I got to sit in the driver’s position, which was definitely cool, because when the touret traverses, the whole basket moves. It was like a carnival ride, with THERMAL IMAGERY! LoL! Remember kids, keep all hands, fingers, toes, and shoelaces within the ride at all times… haha. It was really interesting to see exactly what my dad does every day, and what kind of work it entails. Those LAV’s are incredible intricate; makes me feel a little better knowing that our troops, god love them, are over there being protected with gear that is safe. Some of our stuff is just shit, but the LAV and the Leo are definitely good pieces of kit.

So, amongst other things, my car has a major gas leak right now and it really smells bad inside, I get a sour taste in my mouth from inhaling the fumes when I’m driving around. Hehe, but that’s alright, Daddy shall fix it. <3

Okay, so I got asked out on a date last night by Mr. Gilks. Interesting how things work, hahaha. Flattery; I love it. So that’s pretty exciting. ;) He’s calling me on Sunday apparently, we’ll see how things go. He is well aware, and very clear on the fact that I’m moving away soon. So today, I am going to Steph’s house, we’re gonna hang out and spend the night at her place. Should be terrific, I always have fun with Steph. <3 Anyway, I’m out for now. Just thought I’d give you guys a general kind of update! OH! I got my application and portfolio/letter of intent done for College, here is the
