Snow!
It snowed yesterday, huzzah! We got like 5 cm of snow here in the morning and mid-day, which was awesome for me. I couldn’t get to university on time due to the snow, so instead i played by myself outside. Surprisingly fun, even though no one was here, haha. It was all gone by late afternoon though, due to rain taking it’s place, but the couple hours I had were nice.
Carnival is coming up, which I am 100% excited about. My best friend Caro from Germany, who now studies in Shanghai, is coming to the Netherlands to visit me here. She has 1 month of holiday right now, so we thought his would be the best time than ever for her to come and lend me some company. She will be staying with me from next Friday to Tuesday, when we go to Hamburg Germany together to have a couple days at home.
My parents (lucky bastards) are in California right now, however their weather is worse than ours (rain rain rain). This however means, that I have the house to myself in Hamburg, which will be fun. It’s always something different to be home alone in your old house, rather than at college.
Carnival is three days of party here, for those who don’t know it, and a lot of binge drinking. We will be going to clubs at 12 in the afternoon and staying there all day, that basically constitutes it. Oh, and we get to dress up! I’ve been thinking of my costume all week, though I’ve come up with little ideas. So far I have one costume, I’m just going to wear his military uniform one day and consider myself dressed up, haha. Otherwise I am having problems thinking of something to wear, so my friend Caro and I decided we may just go as germans, which should be easy enough!
