I’m so embarrassed for not writing anymore, I’ve been so damn busy though. I had exams last week, as some of you may know and have been so incredibly busy with those.
I think I did quite well, I passed my oral exam with flying colors (”Well, this oral exam is basically testing your English skills, so I don’t think you’ll have a problem with that”) and that gave me a nice push. It was basically taking some English words and putting them into legal context (Bailiff, who is the person who initiates the law suit etc.) and later was filling in the blanks with a choice of one of four words.
My second exam was the Legal History written exam and that was quite a bomb. I was well prepared, however I had to write 3 essays in 3 hours and I ended up writing a little more on one than on the other. Oh well, I think I got what was important into it so I should be ok.
I spent the weekend in Hamburg again and it was very nice and relaxing. I love spending time with my family every once in a while and now that they are leaving for the states for like one and a half months, I wanted to see them even more. My jealous knows no boundaries for their opportunity to once again go to our lovely house in California, while I sit in the cold and rainy Europe, bah!! I haven’t been back in at least 2 - 2 1/2 years and I’ve been missing it a lot, especially the warm and fun people, as well as the care-free attitude over there, it’s really like holiday when you go there.
I have a bomb unit at University coming up now, Uni every day and lots of work, however I think I’ll be able to cope. I slept like 13 hours every night this weekend so I am ready to power through this week with getting up at 6 to throw out the boy toy and then taking the train for 1 1/2 hours to my lovely university. Woot!
I love starting the week on a good note, ha.ha.ha. Hope all of you are doing well and are happy.
